Who is responsible

Your files

When you add a file to a tool, your browser reads it and processes it on your device. The file, its name and its contents are not sent to us or to anyone else. Results are created on your device and saved by your browser when you click Download. When you close or reload the page, the files are gone from the page. You can check this yourself.

What our hosting provider receives

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web server, it receives technical information when your browser asks for a page or file: your IP address, the address requested, your browser's user agent and the time. Cloudflare uses this to deliver the site and to protect it against attacks. We do not use this information to identify you or to build profiles.

Cookies and storage

The site does not set cookies. It does keep a copy of the pages and tool code you use in your browser's storage, so tools keep working offline (only the site’s own files: your files and their names are never stored, and nothing is sent anywhere). You can delete it with your browser's settings for site data at any time.

Analytics and ads

There are no analytics and no ads on the site. If we add either, we will update this policy before they go live and, where required, ask for your consent first.

Copying to the clipboard

Some tools have a Copy button. It writes the result to your clipboard only when you click it. The site never reads your clipboard. Pasting files into a tool only uses the files you paste.

Email

If you email us at hello@stayputfiles.com, we receive your email address and your message. We use them only to reply to you.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to complain to a data protection authority. Because we do not receive your files and do not use analytics, we usually hold no data about you except emails you send us. Contact us at the address above to use your rights.
