Do the QR codes expire?
No. They are static: the link or text is stored in the image itself, not on a server, so they work as long as the content does.
Which error correction level should I choose?
Medium suits most uses. Choose High if the code will be printed small, may get scratched, or has a logo placed over it; higher levels make the code denser.
Can I use my own colours?
Yes, as long as the code stays clearly darker than its background. The tool warns you when the contrast is too low or the colours are inverted.
Is what I type sent anywhere?
No. The code is created in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to our server.
Does it work offline?
Yes, after you have used it once: your browser keeps a copy of the tool, so it also works without an internet connection. Your files are never part of that copy.
